Free JEE Advanced mock test
Two papers, with several kinds of question and a different marking scheme for each, including partial credit. The real pattern is not published in advance, so ours follows what recent papers did. Sit the real past papers too: they are the truest test of level.

Q1 · Physics · Experimental Skills
In a cooling-curve experiment, hot water in a calorimeter is kept in surroundings at 30 °C. It cools from 80 °C to 60 °C in the first 10 minutes. Assuming Newton's law of cooling holds, what is the temperature of the water after a further 10 minutes?
Answer: (A)
Newton's law of cooling gives an exponential decay of the excess temperature θ − θ₀, so in equal time intervals it is multiplied by the same factor. In the first 10 min, the excess falls from 80 − 30 = 50 °C to 60 − 30 = 30 °C, a factor of 0.6. In the next 10 min the excess becomes 30 × 0.6 = 18 °C, so the temperature is 30 + 18 = 48 °C. (This is why a plot of ln(θ − θ₀) against t is a straight line.)
Q2 · Chemistry · Principles of Qualitative Analysis
A solution of an unknown salt gives a white precipitate on adding dilute HCl. When the precipitate is filtered off and treated with aqueous ammonia, it turns black. The cation present and the origin of the black colour are:
Answer: (A)
Group I cations (Ag⁺, Pb²⁺, Hg₂²⁺) are precipitated as chlorides by dilute HCl. With aqueous ammonia, AgCl dissolves as [Ag(NH₃)₂]⁺, PbCl₂ gives white Pb(OH)Cl, and Hg₂Cl₂ gives a black residue. The black colour comes from Hg₂Cl₂ + 2NH₃ → Hg(NH₂)Cl + Hg + NH₄Cl. Hg(NH₂)Cl is white and the finely divided Hg is black, so the mixture looks black. The cation is Hg₂²⁺.
Q3 · Mathematics · Differential Equations
What is the order of the differential equation whose general solution is y = c₁ e^(x + c₂) + c₃ sin²x + c₄ cos 2x + c₅, where c₁, c₂, c₃, c₄ and c₅ are arbitrary constants?
Answer: (C)
c₁ e^(x + c₂) = (c₁e^(c₂)) eˣ: one constant. sin²x = (1 − cos 2x)/2, so c₃ sin²x + c₄ cos 2x + c₅ = (c₄ − c₃/2) cos 2x + (c₅ + c₃/2): two constants. So y = a eˣ + b cos 2x + c with three independent constants, and the order is 3.
Questions
About the free JEE Advanced mock.
Is the JEE Advanced mock test free?
Yes. The free plan includes 2 full-length mocks a month and 60 practice questions a day, with no card.
Is it on the real JEE Advanced pattern?
Nobody can promise that, because the pattern is not published and changes every year. Our mocks mix the kinds of question the recent papers used, each marked by its own scheme. Confirm the rules on the real paper.
Are the questions at the level of the real paper?
Not all of them yet. Many practice questions in the bank are closer to JEE Main level, and we are adding harder ones. For the true level, sit the real past papers, which are free with an account.
Can I practise the real JEE Advanced papers?
Yes, free with an account: the papers we hold from 2007 to 2026, timed or chapter by chapter, with a solution for each question.
