Getting started

Which exams does Nikaalle prepare me for?

NEET (UG), JEE (Main) Paper 1 and JEE (Advanced). You choose your exams when you sign up, and your plan, tests and analytics follow them. You can change them later in settings.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes 2 full-length mocks a month and 60 practice questions a day, with every analysis included. No card is needed.

Why do you confirm my email and mobile number when I sign up?

So that the account belongs to the person who made it. We send a six-digit code to each; they expire after ten minutes. Your address is used for your account, results and reminders you choose; your number is used only for account security, never for marketing.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Nikaalle runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You can also add it to your home screen from the browser, where it opens like an app and can send notifications. See the Get the app page for the steps on each device.

I am under 18. Can I sign up?

Indian law requires a parent or guardian’s consent before a child’s personal data may be processed. Where under-18 sign-up is open, we email your parent and your account stays inactive until they agree; they can withdraw consent at any time. If the sign-up page says it is not open to under-18s yet, we are waiting until we can verify a parent’s consent the way the law asks, and nothing you entered is kept.

Is Nikaalle connected to NTA or the IITs?

No. Nikaalle is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with NTA, NMC, the IITs or any exam body. Always check dates, eligibility and the official information bulletin on the exam body’s own website.

Preparing

How is the study plan made?

It counts back 52 weeks from your exam date: every chapter once, then consolidation, revision weighted by how much each chapter carries, and full papers in the final month. Each week names its chapters and a practice target, and today’s plan comes from it.

Are mock tests marked like the real exam?

Yes. NEET and JEE (Main) are +4 for a right answer and −1 for a wrong one. JEE (Main) numerical answers must be whole numbers, as in the exam. JEE (Advanced) papers carry partial credit, numericals and matching lists, each marked by its own scheme.

Do you use previous-year questions?

Their text belongs to the exam bodies, so we never put it in front of students. We read past papers for facts — how many questions each chapter gets, how hard they are — and use those to shape our own questions, mocks and chapter weights.

Who writes the questions and notes?

They are written for Nikaalle and reviewed by a second person before any student sees them. While the question bank is being written, placeholder questions are labelled as placeholders wherever they appear.

What if I find a mistake in a question?

Report it from the question when you review your answers. The report goes to the reviewers, and if an answer key was wrong, the affected papers are marked again and your results update.

Plans and payment

What do the paid plans cost?

₹1,499 for three months or ₹4,499 for a year, GST included. Both remove the limits on mocks and practice. Payment is by card, UPI or net banking through Razorpay.

Does my plan renew automatically?

No. Each plan is a one-time payment for a fixed period, so there is nothing to cancel. When it ends, your account returns to the free plan and keeps all its history.

Can I get a refund?

If you change your mind, ask within 14 days of paying for a full refund. A double charge, or a payment that did not give you the plan, is always refunded in full. Refunds go back to the original payment method; the refund policy has the details.

My payment failed. Was I charged?

A payment that did not complete does not activate or charge for a plan. If money left your account anyway, your bank returns it automatically, usually within 5–7 working days. We also email you and show a notice in the app when a payment fails.

Parents

What can a parent see?

A linked parent gets a read-only view of the plan, tests, results and progress, and a weekly summary by email if they want it. They cannot change anything, sit tests, or see private notes.

How does a parent get access?

The student invites them from Settings → Parent or guardian, by email. The parent follows the link, sets a password (or signs in, if they already have a parent account), and the accounts are linked. The student can remove access at any time.

Does a parent pay anything?

No. The parent view is part of the student’s account, on any plan, including the free one.

Notifications

What will you email me about, and can I turn it off?

Results, test reminders, a weekly summary, receipts, study nudges and product updates — each can be switched off in Settings → Notifications. Offers are off unless you switch them on. Sign-up codes, password resets and security alerts are always sent, because they protect your account.

Can I get notifications on my phone?

Yes. In Settings → Push notifications, turn them on for each phone or computer and choose which kinds you want. On an iPhone or iPad, first add Nikaalle to your Home Screen, as Apple requires.

Privacy and account

Who can see my scores?

You, and a parent or guardian you have linked. Nothing about you is public unless you make your profile public and switch each detail on; students under 18 cannot make anything public at all. Marks, mistakes and notes are never public.

Do you sell data or show ads?

No. There is no advertising and there are no trackers on the site; we use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. The one thing we measure is whether offer emails you chose to receive are opened — never for a student under 18.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in page. We email a link that works once, for 30 minutes. Changing your password signs you out everywhere and we tell you it changed, in case it was not you.

How do I get a copy of my data, or delete my account?

From Settings → Privacy & data, you can download everything we hold about you, and ask for correction or erasure. Or use the grievances & data rights page. We answer within 90 days at the latest.
