Questions
About free preparation.
Can I prepare for NEET or JEE using only free resources?
Yes. The NCERT books, the official NTA websites, the government’s SATHEE platform and free practice platforms cover the syllabus, past papers and mock tests. What free resources cannot give you is the discipline to use them daily; a plan with named weeks helps with that.
Which free resource should I start with?
The NCERT books, chapter by chapter, with questions on each chapter as soon as you finish it. Add full mock tests once most of the syllabus has been covered once.
Where do I find official exam dates and notices?
Only on the NTA websites: neet.nta.nic.in for NEET (UG) and jeemain.nta.nic.in for JEE (Main). Notices elsewhere, including on this site, are copies; the NTA page is the one that counts.
